My hope is for this to be a space to share about creating a full life for myself (how I didn’t know that was a thing until recently) and basically sharing the lessons I am learning throughout my journey.

I want the blog to be a space where I can share the stories of others. People who I love and then one day people who I have yet to love. Sharing the stories of real people. I love being told stories and we all have such meaningful impactful stories that are our lives and I don’t think there are enough spaces to tell these stories. I think it’s kind of cool that this project will allow me to hear so many stories of so many people. It’d be really cool for this to be a collection of stories. Thinking about that makes me feel warm inside. A space to document the lives of so many worthy and valuable people. People who mean the world to me, who inspire me, who I think have something to say and something I want to share. That’s cool that I can create a space for that. A place where I get to make the rules.

I’m nervous about how I can marry these two things. Because as I am still striving to create the life I want to live, I think there are so many lessons that I want to learn from others. I listen well, but I also want to place more importance on my own life. Who knows, this may just turn into a space to share other people’s story but for now I want it to be both. I wrote in 2020 I wanted to create, “A personal development blog, but not in a self help kind of way. In a different way, but I’m not sure yet on what kind of way. Like a blog about growth.” While I document the stories of others, I want to tell my own story and document my growth. I think it’s important because I look at other women and think that they have just become the people that they are and I didn’t just become this person I am today. I have worked really really hard to become her. I’m still unsure if she is for sharing with the world yet or not, but I do know one of my top values is connection and I believe sharing our stories (the things that make us who we are) creates connection.
